Support Us
RPMS has always been a community effort. Parents, students, faculty, staff, alumni, grandparents, and friends all play an important role in helping our school thrive.
Whether you choose to give financially, volunteer your time, or share your talents and expertise, your support helps strengthen the experience of every child at RPMS. Thank you for being part of our community.
The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence

Every gift to the RPMS Annual Fund helps create the kind of Montessori experience that defines our school. Annual Fund gifts are put to work immediately, providing exceptional teachers with the resources they need, keeping our classrooms thoughtfully prepared, expanding opportunities for children beyond the classroom, and making an RPMS education possible for more families.
The RPMS Annual Fund is our school’s top fundraising priority, and we invite every family to participate at a level that is meaningful for them.
Join generations of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends whose generosity has helped children learn, grow, and thrive for 60 years.
RPMS is an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that receives no public funding. Tuition covers only a portion of our school expenses — classroom materials, scholarships, meals for our younger children, and RPMS staff and teacher salaries, to name a few.
Contributions from our dedicated community make up the rest, and help us offer a well-rounded Montessori experience for every RPMS family. Email Director of Development Rebekah Paine at rpaine@rpms.org with any questions about financial giving.
Make RPMS part of your legacy and help generations of Montessori students reach their full potential. Include our school in your estate planning, give an income-producing gift, add us to your retirement plan distribution, and more.
Email Director of Development Rebekah Paine at rpaine@rpms.org to discuss the best charitable giving options for your family.
Throughout each school year, the RPMS Advancement Team and dedicated parent volunteers organize signature fundraising events that celebrate our community and support our mission. These events bring our community together while helping sustain the programs and opportunities that make RPMS special.

Our goal was to build a purpose-driven Montessori school that would serve toddlers through middle schoolers. That vision had never been fully realized in Chicago before this building.

A: As an independent nonprofit school, RPMS does not receive public funding, and tuition covers only part of what it costs to provide the full experience our students receive. Fundraising helps close that gap and supports the people, materials, and opportunities that make an RPMS education distinctive.
A: We invite every family to participate at a level that feels meaningful and manageable for them. Gifts of all sizes add up, and broad participation reflects a community invested in the school’s future. Some families also increase the impact of their gift through an employer matching program.
A: Absolutely. Volunteers coach teams, work in the library, help with arrival and dismissal, and bring community events to life. Others serve as Room Coordinators or lend their experience to a committee. There are many ways to contribute, and families can choose one that fits their time and interests.
